Paris staged its' first ever 'Black Fashion Week' from October 4th - 6th 2012, with collections that comprised of all black designers from Morocco, Cameroon, France/Niger, Senegal, Haiti, Martinique, Mali and the USA. Senegalese designer Adama Ndiaye who launched the event, presented collections with an all black cast of models, which was showcased at the Pavillon Cambon Capucines in Paris.
